**** Private ****

I have decided to go in a different direction, outward rather than inward. I can stare at my belly button for only so long. I have also decided to go with what I know: create an ethnography study for individuals who have had what they classify as occult or paranormal events.

So I put out an ad in the city’s newpapers, for any individuals who ever have had ‘strange’ experiences. I worry that the nutcases might pop out of the woodwork: the crackpots that not only listen to ‘Coast to Coast’ but also believe they have been abducted, or delusionals that believe they see ghosts or strange entities like talking dolls.

But the above shows my own bias to the subject. And how I need to gain a less defensive stance since my own story is not the most credible. In fact, it is down right crazy when I think about.

I hope the ethnography study might provide any lead on the Tom Davenport issue. Beyond that, it might be cathartic for me to find some other kindred souls out there. To actually talk with someone that might not cast judgement on my experience.

Of course, at that point, I will have invalidated any true enthography and entered, what, a therapy group scenario. But since my motives for creating the ethnography have nothing to do with an actual enthography study, the point is moot. We’ll see where this goes.
